What can we visit in Athens ?

As a child I liked the history and especially of Greece, which is why I was always fascinated by their culture and civilization. So one October day we decided to go on vacation in Athens.
I booked the tickets on momondo.ro, departure was with Tarom, and the return with Aegean Airlines. And now there are discounts on the site, and a departure in December for a couple costs around 260 euros.
We searched for accommodation on booking.com and booked a double room at the Economy Hotel with breakfast. At the moment for December, the accommodation is 1000 lei. The hotel was decent, the room ok, the location wonderful, because we could walk to Plaka, and the metro mouth is close.
Transportation in Athens is reasonably priced. We traveled on foot, we used the subway and the water transport. I leave a link HERE where you can consult the price list and the types of transport cards. Once we got there we went on foot to Plaka where we served lunch. The food in Athens is extraordinary, a lot of delicious dishes, the vast majority of restaurants also have live music evenings so you feel like heaven.

Greece is wonderful, Athens has stuck in my mind and soul, so surely we will return to enjoy their hospitality and their contagious joy.
