A few months after leaving for Istanbul, the longing for travel and relaxation filled us, so we packed up and went to Malta. I booked a flight with WIZZ AIR, Bucharest-Valleta. The prices during this period are quite good. For a couple, a flight with hand luggage included 40x30x20 cm costs around 212 euros. If you choose WIZZ priority you pay 22 euros per person and you can bring the troller with you. There are also other upgrades to the air ticket such as: Privilege pass, Wizz Flex, etc. For a couple, the flight costs around 255 euros. The accommodation was chosen according to what we wanted to experience, so we stayed at LABRANDA Riviera Hotel & Spa Melliena Malta exactly in the north-western part of the island, in the immediate vicinity of the Blue Lagoon and the island of Gozo. The view is exceptional, towards the Gulf of Marfa, and the 2 outdoor pools with seawater, Thalasso Spa and the fitness center make you feel in heaven. The hotel has 4 restaurants and 4 bars, the food is diversified and delicious, and the waiters and bartenders are very nice. The accommodation cost us about 212 euros and we also had two meals included. Transport in Malta meant traveling by bus or on foot. When leaving the airport we got in a taxi that we booked in advance and cost us 60 euros round trip. But I recommend the bus. In winter the ticket price is 1.5 euros, in summer 2 euros, and at night it costs 3 euros. There is the possibility of the Explore Plus card, it costs 39 euros, the Explore Unlimited Travel 7 days costs 21 euros / adult and 15 euros / child and 12 Single Day Journeys which costs 15 euros.
